Dear Readers,

Well I got a new computer and my husband took the old one so I no longer have to fight to get my fair share of time on it. Unfortunately, he still grabs it to check on his daily "Fantasy Baseball" stats.

Right now I am working on a medical thriller and find myself using a lot of the things I learned in my Criminal Justice classes.

Of course, my chief investigator just happens to bear a striking resemblance to William Petersen, who plays the Head Investigator Gilbert 'Gil' Grissom on the weekly crime drama CSI. (Who could resist?)

My chief protagonist is a farm girl from Iowa (like me) only she started writing her novels at a much younger age than I did.

A message from her best friend asking for help takes her to Brazil only to arrive too late. Her best friend is dead. A cursory investigation of the facts nets more questions than answers. Following the leads, she ends up in Colorado and finds herself a suspect in the murder of the person she hoped would give her the answers she needs. Time is running short as she tries to convince the lead investigator not to put her in jail.

With a touch of interfering with the police investigation, computer hacking, seeking help from the Pueblo mafia, she discovers the identity of her friend's killers, only to find herself slated as their next victim.

I am really enjoying all the "Murder and Mayhem."
